The Apron Lady Mother-Daughter Tea Party Aprons
The Apron Lady, aka Jan Lutz, never ceases to amaze with her delightful apron patterns for kids and adults. One of my favorites is her Tea Party Mother-Daughter Apron pattern, which includes patterns for both mom and child.
Isn’t this one just too cute? So cute that I think it would be perfect for Wear an Apron Day on May 10! And if you’re feeling like making something even fancier, Jan has a sample made up in silk.
Isn’t this a gorgeous interpretation of that pattern? I love the idea of using a fancy fabric in something like an apron.

The Fabric Shop Network is proud to be a national sponsor of National Tie One on Day™. On the day before Thanksgiving, women across the country will be celebrating the day by wrapping a loaf of bread in an apron, tucking a prayer or a note of encouragement in the pocket, and then delivering the bundle to someone in need of physical or spiritual sustenance—or both. What could be nicer than receiving such a gift—and handmade at that?
