{free pattern} Breakfast Club Apron
Originally featured in Where Women Cook, this apron pattern from Kimberbell Designs (of DIY Dish fame) is a free download. The longer apron panel is pieced (oh the possibilities!) and has a cute fabric flower to add a little pizzazz to it. You could also add a little pocket or two. Cute!
What fabric would you want to make it with?

{Free Pattern} Shabby Fig Apron
If you’ve not visited Joanna Figueroa’s blog: Fresh Figs, you really need to. Her choiceof colors for her site, her fabric lines, her several books… they are so calm and nostalgic. Sometimes I just go for the color therapy, I swear.
Joanna has some great information on her blog, as well, and often offers peaks into the quilts she’s found or projects she’s working on. She’s written several books with Martingale & Company, including one of my faves Fresh Vintage Sewing. Her projects are always so delightful–I especially love her pincushions. She always includes an apron or two, like the cute Apron Strings Waist Apron with its ingeneous use of bias between the apron panels.
from "Fig Tree Quilts: Fresh Vintage Sewing"
While I love the straight lines of this pattern, she also has a ruffled apron that is adorable and the apron is free! Check out the pdf pattern for her Shabby Fig Apron and read along with her blog when you get the chance.
If you get the chance to make the Shabby Fig Apron, let us know! We would love to see a photo of it.
